Kadamba Marketing Souharda Sahakari Niyamita was established in 2005 in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada, as a farmer-led cooperative created to provide an organized and farmer-oriented marketing platform for agricultural and forest produce.
Farmers across the region cultivate a wide range of crops such as spices, coconut, cashew, paddy, fruits and several non-timber forest products including kokum, jackfruit, amla and shikakai. Kadamba works with farmers to procure and market these products while supporting agricultural activities across the district.
Over the years, the cooperative has helped bring many of these regional products to wider markets while strengthening rural livelihoods and promoting traditional crops grown in the region.


What We Do
Bridging the Gap Between Farmers and Markets
Many crops and traditional products grown in Uttara Kannada are usually sold only within local markets. In many cases, these products rarely reach consumers outside the region.
Kadamba Marketing was created to help address this gap by organizing procurement, processing and marketing of agricultural and forest produce through a cooperative system.
By creating a structured marketing platform, Kadamba helps farmers bring their produce to wider markets while ensuring fair opportunities for rural communities.
